FrontierSpace was established in the Fall of 2010 as a collaborative project between William Hutchinson and Nathan Tonning. In an effort to add a fresh voice to the creative dialogue in Missoula, FrontierSpace was conceived of as a place to host exhibitions that would not necessarily be seen in other venues in the city.
FrontierSpace is not designed or managed as a commercially driven gallery, but is instead intended as a resource for the arts community and the exhibiting artists.
